I saw Jon speak at my school a few weeks ago and it was really humbling to see how simple his process is. He’s been able to find such a great amount of success with it and it’s due to the fact that he does put a lot of conscious effort into replicating old typefaces with a steady authenticity by paying attention to his sources of early Americana. Really nice and helpful guy.
